The Stanford Third Degree Burner cruising past a dinosaur in New Mexico, with a couple of semis and trucks lining up to take a look. The race caravan is fairly tightly packed together since the freeway can get dangerous with normal traffic racing by at high speeds.

Sample composite panels are layed up for testing. Here PVA mold release is applied to a non-porous surface before the wet layup to allow release of the panel after cure.

Here a top layer of carbon fiber is placed on the nomex core. The top fabric was previously wetted with epoxy.
