Corona Description For Sunrayce 99, the team went with an entirely new design, since now 3-wheeled vehicles were outlawed. Coronawas aimed to improve on many of Roadrunner'sflaws, including a better aerodynamic shell and lower rolling resistance. The day before the rayce started, a trailering accident smashed the solar array. Corona still managed to finish the hilly and rainy Washington, D.C. to Orlando rayce in 28th place and shows real potential as a solar car design. |
