Hyperion http://www.clarkson.edu/~newsolar/hyperspecs.html Description Clarkson's most recent Sunrayce entrant, Hyperion, qualified in 7th place with a speed of 36 MPH for over 8 hours straight, the best qualifying effort by any Clarkson entrant. Hyperion travelled from Washington, DC to Orlando, FL at an average speed of 18 MPH to finish 14th out of 29 teams in Sunrayce. Almost all of the teams were hampered by overcast skies which forced the cars to run on battery power nearly the entire race. |
