Dakota Sun http://www.sdsmt.edu/student-orgs/solar/dakotasun_history.html Description The Solar Motion Team's second car, Dakota Sun, had many modifications from the Solar Rolar including changing from a 4-wheel design to a 3-wheel configuration. It was made with a Kevlar and carbon fiber body and array, and had an integrated electronic monitoring system and cruise control. Dakota Sun competed in SunRayce '97. SunRayce '97 started in Indianapolis IN and finished in Colorado Springs CO 10 days later. |
