Excelsior http://www.clarkson.edu/~newsolar/excelspecs.html Description In 1993, the Solar Knights returned to the Sunrayce with Excelsior, a vehicle with a sleeker body design, but a solar panel configuration that resembled Kalahkwaneha. Excelsior travelled at an average speed of 12.08 MPH over seven days from Arlington, Texas to Minneapolis, Minnesota. Clarkson once again finished in 28th place, but this time in an extended race field of 34 participants. |
