| Tuft testing Photo by eloy avila created 4/3/2002 submitted 4/3/2002 06:53:53 PM 1/8 scale model of a shape similar to the Third Degree Burner in crosswind configuration. Tufts near the bubble show turbulent/separated flow, although complete separation would have the tufts flipped over each other. Tufts near the edge also show that in crosswinds the shape has uneven downward lift. | |
