| Full scale wind tunnel testing of Maize & Blue Photo by Furqan Nazeeri submitted 7/15/1993 In order to verify the computer models, we did full scale wind tunnel testing of Maize & Blue at Lockheed's facility in Georgia. The primary useful feedback from the testing was in regard to the design and usefulness of the wheel opening covers which were subsequently redesigned. Of course, it was also useful to have actual drag data for use in our race strategy similator. | |
