On Road Aerodynamic Testing Photo by Sean Willis created 11/9/1997 submitted 9/9/2003 08:43:31 PM Original tuft testing for post race analysis on UIUC Photon Torpedo. The car was run at speed on a rural road (Royal, IL) and stationary observers and chase car attempted to diagnose aerodynamic difficulties. As seen in this photo, stagnation occurs behind the front wheel fairings.
